Vine Residential began in 2014 with a single-family home purchase in Tallahassee—and a vision that extended far beyond that first property. Founder Christian Griffith, then a student-athlete at Florida State University, saw real estate not just as an investment, but as an opportunity to create lasting value in the lives of Vine's residents.
What started with single-family homes grew into a portfolio of rental properties, and by 2019, evolved into multifamily and eventually development. In 2023, Vine Residential reached two major milestones: launching our property management company and breaking ground on our first ground-up development, The Vine Betton.
Today, Vine Residential develops communities across the Southeast, from boutique infill cottage and townhome communities to larger garden-style apartment communities. Whether self-developing or joint venturing with programmatic experienced partners, our mission remains the same: create communities and provide an uplifting living experience.
